Restorative Dentistry

A dental restoration or dental filling is a dental restorative material used to restore the function, integrity and morphology of missing tooth structure.

Composite restorations can often be easily repaired or extended without drilling out and replacing the entire filling. There is no need for the dentist to create retentive features destroying healthy tooth.

Orthodontic Braces

Used in orthodontics that align and straighten teeth and help to position them with regard to a person’s bite, while also working to improve dental health. They are often used to correct underbites, as well as malocclusions, overbites, open bites, deep bites, cross bites, crooked teeth, and various other flaws of the teeth and jaw.

Removable Retainers

Made of a combination of metal wires and sturdy acrylic, and is designed to keep your teeth in place. This retainer is specially made from impressions of your teeth so that it fits snugly and comfortably in the roof of your mouth, while any wire or acrylic framing keeps your teeth in perfect position.

Lingual Retainers

Bonded lingual retainers are cemented directly to the inside surface of your lower canines. This is the one of the best ways to prevent your lower teeth from shifting as it permanently attached

Treatment uses myofunctional orthodontic techniques to address the poor oral habits (known as myofunctional habits) that are the real, underlying causes of crooked teeth and uses light, intermittent forces to align the teeth.

Bleaching (Teeth Whitening)

Power or light-accelerated bleaching, sometimes colloquially referred to as laser uses light energy which is intended to accelerate the process of bleaching in a dental office.

Crown Build Up and Diastema Closure

Procedure wherein the dentists use a tooth colored composites that they have in their offices to repair chips or cracks, close gaps and build-up the worn- down edges of teeth

Inlays / Onlays

Are conservative alternative to full coverage dental crowns. Also known as indirect fillings, which are fabricated indirectly in a dental laboratory before being fitted and bonded to the prepared tooth. These restorations are beneficial from both an esthetic and functional point of view.

Veneers (Porcelain or Composite)

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length

Painless removal of the whole tooth or root with minimal trauma to the investing tissues, so that the wound heals eventually & no-post operative prosthetic problem is created.

It is a procedure wherein the dentist will remove the tooth by separating and opening the gums, sometimes there is the necessity to remove bone around the tooth. This is especially common to third molar teeth due to the fact that most of the third molars are impacted (embedded under the jaw bone).

TMJ Treatment

The art and science of establishing neuromuscular harmony in the masticatory system by creating a mechanical disadvantage for parafunctional forces with removable appliances.

Dental Implant

(also known as an endosseous implant or fixture) is a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, facial prosthesis or to act as an orthodontic anchor.

Root Canal Treatment

Is a dental procedure that is used to remove diseased pulp tissue from the interior of a tooth.

Removes the diseased pulp tissue within the crown portion of the tooth. A disinfecting agent calms the remaining nerve tissues is then placed in the tooth. This is followed by a final restoration (usually a stainless steel crown.

Required when the entire pulp is involve (into the root canal(s) of the tooth. During this treatment, the diseased pulp tissue is completely removed from both the crown and root. The canal arecleased, medicated and in the case of primary teeth, filled with a resorbable material. Then a final restoration is placed (usually a stainless steel crown)

Fixed Prosthodontics

Concerned with restoring teeth using restorations that are fixed into the patient’s mouth. They are typically made in a laboratory after taking impressions (moulds) for the technician to work with. They are also known as ‘indirect restorations’.

Complete Denture/ Removable Partial Denture (RPD)

Dentures, also known as false teeth, are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth; they are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable (removable partial denture or complete denture). However, there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants (fixed prosthodontics). There are two main categories of dentures, the distinction being whether they are used to replace missing teeth on the mandibular arch or on the maxillary arch.

Fluoride Application

Topical fluoride can be used to help prevent decay, remineralise the tooth surface and to treat dentine hypersensitivity.

Pit and Fissure Sealants

Sealants applied to the biting surfaces of the back teeth. The sealant forms a hard shield that keeps food and bacteria from getting into the tiny grooves in the teeth and causing decay.

Stainless Steel Crowns

is an extremely durable restoration with several clear-cut indications for use in primary teeth including: following a pulpotomy/pulpectomy; for teeth with developmental defects or large carious lesions involving multiple surfaces where an amalgam is likely to fail
